Search and select a stop in the “Origin” and “Destination” fields — or tap “Nearest stop” to fill in the closest stop via your location — then press “Search Routes”. The planner lists several route options with total travel time, number of transfers and estimated fare; select any option to see step-by-step ride, walking and waiting details.

Origins and destinations are bus stops in Taipei City and New Taipei City. City buses are always included, and the planner automatically combines them with metro, TRA trains and intercity buses to find workable routes.

Route options are computed from the network and timetable data of the Ministry of Transportation’s TDX platform. Fares are the sum of each segment, without transfer discounts; times include riding, walking and waiting estimates. Actual conditions vary with traffic and service, so check live arrivals on the route page before departing.

Make sure both origin and destination are selected from the suggestion list (typed text alone doesn’t work). You may also get no results when the two stops are too close, no reasonable transfer combination exists, or during the nightly maintenance window (1:00–5:30 AM). Try nearby stops or search again later.

Yes. Every option offers “Share Route / Copy Link”, and opening the link restores the same origin and destination. You can also switch to Google Maps in transit mode to compare.
